Get Grounded

In these first two modules, we discuss getting grounded and building a strong foundation and space to create art in.

Together, we will walk through:

The creative tools I use in my workshops and business
Spiritual tools like crystals and smudging with white sage to clear your creative space and deepen your art practice
Preparing for your art session with a grounding meditation
Creating Color Swatches to learn dripping techniques
Creating circle and line paintings to begin building your foundation
Creating simple leaf and flower shapes with the use of brushwork

In these 2 modules, we talk about techniques to blur and blend to create a washy and soulful style. Plus, loosening up and finding your flow to create unique and beautiful paintings.

Together, we will walk through:

Letting go of perfectionism and crafting flowers from your heart space
Learning how to get comfortable with water, dripping, blending, blurring and different brushstroke techniques to create ethereal, atmospheric floral paintings
Painting simple leaf shapes to get used to the painting techniques
Learning what it means to craft your own expression of flowers
Problem solving as you are crafting your flowers

Let Go

In these two modules, we will have fun letting go of control and lean into any "mistakes" as part of the process. Once in a state of flow, you'll learn to quiet your mind, connect with your intuition, trust the process and then just let go.

Together, we will walk through:

Beginning with a guided meditation to help you let go and surrender to the process
Creating a full sheet of florals using one color and all of the techniques you learned
Entering a state of flow by creating a sacred circle painting
Filling up your page with leaves and florals while practicing all of the techniques
Creating your large scale “Let Go” master painting.
Working with templates to create cutouts of abstract floral paintings, cards, and bookmarks.
